Develop the essential skills of kayak self-rescue and partnership-rescue in the controlled environment of Lake Chebacco. Rescue skills provide paddlers with a deep level of confidence in the water, that will enhance their kayaking experience on the water.

KAYAK SKILLS I: THE ESSENTIALS

An introductory kayak lesson is highly recommended for all beginners. Learn your fundamental kayak strokes, essential self-rescue techniques and general kayak seamanship.

KAYAK SKILLS II: BOAT CONTROL

Take your basic kayak skills to the next level by learning how to properly manuever a kayak with your body. Learn to zig zag through a salt marsh by edging your kayak and discover the freedoms that unlock when you are able to connect with and truly control your kayak.

CUSTOM PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

Private instruction is the easiest and best way to improve your skills in any area of kayaking. Our instructors will work with you one-on-one to develop any skills you'd like, ranging from the most introductory paddling strokes to more advanced skills such as bracing and rolling.
