Introductory Gilligan Tour (3 Hours)

A tour of the scenic estuaries of the Essex River Basin. Perfect for the beginner or intermediate paddler. Our most popular tour!

Sunset Tours (2 hours)

Enjoy the sun setting over the Basin, every evening starting in late May through early September.

Moonlight Tours (3 hours)

Paddle to Crane's Beach in the evening sunset. Watch the moon come up over the basin. Enjoy a bonfire with coffee, hot chocolate, cold drinks and dessert. Offered four nights around the full moon.

Senior Paddle (2 hours)

A two hour less strenuous paddle through the scenic estuaries for those 60 years and older. Departs Mondays on the high tide.

Choate (Hog) Island Paddle, Walk, Paddle (5 hours)
Combine paddling and walking with a deli lunch at The Trustees of the Reservations property Hog Island, the site of the 20th Century' Fox movie, "The Crucible". Includes admission to Hog Island.

Advanced Tours
For our advanced paddlers we offer many longer more exciting paddles. Including longer distance, surfing, and overnight camping. Destinations include Misery Island, Gloucester Harbor, and Lanes Cove. Tours leave ERBA Sunday Mornings at 9:00am

What you need to bring and wear
Summer: Bathing suit or shorts, T-shirt and a light cover-up.
Spring & Fall: Avoid jeans or sweatshirts, polar fleece works well.
Watersocks or an old pair of sneakers. Your feet will get wet!

Suntan lotion, a hat, sunglasses attached to a strap, insect spray. Drinking water and a snack. Change of clothes.

Rentals of dry bags spray shirts, farmer johns, water socks and most anything that you would need is available at our store.
